Introducing... The Spring 2004 Classes



Kindermusik Village

for newborn to 1-1/2 years
With you at the center of his or her discovery, Kindermusik Village engages your Baby's senses and rewards his curiosity with object and instrument exploration, vocal play, singing, creative movement and a colorful literature component. Multi-level activities encourage you to make creative choices as Baby grows from lap baby to crawler to walker! Village opens new windows - to show your baby more about the world and to show you more about your baby. A parent or care giver attends the entire 30 minute class. Maximum class size is 12 students. Spring semester A, "Hickory, Dickory, Tickle and Bounce" will encourage Baby's language development through the rhythmic nature of favorite childhood nursery rhymes. "The Rhythm of My Day," the spring semester B theme, offers an introduction to American Sign Language and is highlighted by the concept of a family's daily rituals and routines. Fall semester A theme is "Feathers" - delightful songs, movement activities, and vocal play relating to our feathered friends. Fall semester B theme is called "Do-Si-Do" and stimulates a wonderfully unique experience of rhythm and movement. Songs and activities are designed to help Baby and Parent incorporate music into many of their regular routines.




Kindermusik Our Time

for ages 1-1/2 to 3-1/2 years
Our Time focuses on your child's healthy emotional development as confidence, curiosity, self-control, and communication begin to take shape. Recognizing a child's need for both the freedom to try new experiences and the assurance of your support, Our Time encourages your child's discovery with you at the center of his or her adventure. children play instruments, learn finger plays, listen to the sounds of the world around them, move to music, sing along, and enjoy Music and Movement Story Time. Kindermusik Our Time is designed for the parent or a care giver to attend the entire 45 minute class. Maximum class size is 12 students. In the spring, "Away We Go!" guides parent and child to explore the exciting world of things that go! Singing, dancing and developmentally appropriate activities lead this transportation adventure to the discovery of trains, cars, buses, horses, wagons, airplanes and boats. Our fall theme will be "Wiggles and Giggles." This theme features songs, activities and literature books surrounding the ever exciting themes of taking a bath, animal movements, and love for family and friends.



Kindermusik Imagine That!

for ages 3-1/2 to 5 years
Imagine That! captures the child's attention, nurtures budding creativity and individuality, and enhances the overall learning process. This is accomplished through a remarkable blend of music, singing, movement, literature, instrument exploration and pretend play. In Imagine That!, children are active participants in the learning process. With music as the common thread, each lesson provides opportunity for the child to reflect, compare, make choices, express opinions and preferences and engage in problem-solving activities. The class length is 45 minutes with a parent or care giver attending the last 15 minutes of class. Maximum class size is 8. The spring theme of "Toys I Make, Trips I Take" lead us on a magical journey into a remarkable Toy Shop filled with boats, trains, balls, jack-in-the-box and many other toys. Our fall theme, "See What I Saw," takes us on an imaginary trip to Grasshopper Park where we swing, slide, walk, hop and have a picnic!
